Nutcracker's new flavor

Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School is brewing something special for its sixth session, Sunday at Nightingale Theatre, 1416 E. Fourth St.

Tulsa Ballet's Megan Mc- Kown Miller, Sherron Underwood and Serena Chu will dance interpretations of second-act movements from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker Suite," modeling for artistic types.

McKown Miller, Tulsa Ballet instructor and a former soloist, performs Spanish hot chocolate; Underwood goes with Arabian Coffee; and Chu, a current Tulsa Ballet soloist, poses as Chinese Tea for this unique event started by Eye Candy Burlesque described as part theater, part art class.

Whatever you call it, it's different.

Doors open for Dr. Sketchy's "Nutcracker Sweet" at 5 p.m. Sessions will be 6-10 p.m., and admission is $10. If you dress for a night at the ballet, you'll receive a $3 discount. And don't forget your art supplies and easels.
